Our energy group buying program has been in place for the last 26 years, used by all Ontario hospitals, thousands of restaurants, hotels and hospitality institutions. Now, all businesses, as well as residential corporations (e.g. condominium complexes) can apply.

How we do it? We purchase energy as a large group – this allows us to get better rates from all energy providers in Ontario. How better? Depending on how long you are willing to commit (1-year, 2-year and 3-year contracts with your existing hydro provider), you would be getting up to 40% off your monthly bill!

* The Direct Hydro program applies to businesses, residential buildings (where hydro is included in the maintenance fees) and commercial buildings, plazas, etc.

Natural Gas

1 year price at 13.9 cents/m3 beginning JULY 1, 2017 – JUNE 30, 2018*.

3 year price at 12.7 cents/m3 beginning JULY 1, 2017 – JUNE 30, 2020*.

*Please note that new regulations require members located in the Union Gas North East zone to have their transportation charge combined with their commodity rate on their bill.

Electricity

1 year 7×24 target price at 2.5 cents/kWh beginning JULY 1, 2017 – JUNE 30, 2018.

3 year 7×24 target price at 2.7 cents/kWh beginning JULY 1, 2017 – JUNE 30, 2020.

The target price plus the HOEP will make-up the consumer’s on-bill final price. ECNG Energy has no control over the Global Adjustment cost.
