Welcome to the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce online community!

Your Chamber is dedicated to providing strong, continued service to over 1800 members in one of Canada’s marquee pioneering and entrepreneurial business communities. For the past 131 years, dating back to the Chamber’s founding as the Berlin Board of Trade, we have expanded into one of the largest and more innovative Chambers in Canada by focusing on the needs of all our members, big and small.

In everything we do our focus is on four core pillars that you have told us are important to you. Those four pillars are:

Networking – We offer many great opportunities to network with local professionals. Our Business After 5 attracts well over 150 business professionals to connect and network with one another at unique venues. The MNP Networking Breakfast Series allows attendees to network and hear from engaging speakers on topics relevant to small and medium sized businesses. Our Point of View Luncheons and Chamber Young Professional events also provide great networking opportunities. Our Chamber Plus Networks offer a smaller group setting to make connections and gain valuable business leads.

Education – programs like the Manulife Chamber Academy, Peer2Peer and the Chamber Toastmasters

Member Rewards – rewards like Cowan One Source Advantage, Zomaron Merchant Services and Esso Business Discount Program

Advocacy – working issues like Physician Recruitment and Federal & Provincial Government Advocacy

As we move into our 2018-19 event and program year our members can expect improved programs, enhanced events that routinely bring hundreds of fellow Chamber members together, all in order to serve you, our members, better.

We are 1800 members strong and we add more every week. There is strength in numbers and as one of the largest chambers of commerce in Canada, we have a stronger voice to make Waterloo Region’s issues heard at the highest level. A strong business community means a strong overall community. We work together to build a stable, flourishing economy and to continue Waterloo Region’s success at Business Building Community. Your Chamber will be there to help you grow and succeed.

Membership

Chamber membership is much more valuable than any list of services and benefits could possibly communicate.
